Digital Collaborators: Reframing Effects Pedals as Creative Agents Informing Composition, Performance and Production.
My research focuses on effects pedals as informative and collaborative agents within the creative process across different performance contexts.
The project features a series of case studies, examining creative practice during composition, performance and production contexts. At each stage documenting their motivations, methodologies, and workflows, before analysing the temporal and sonic variations in their performances.
More information will be added to this page over the course of the research.
This research is being conducted at The University of Huddersfield, as part of the Leverhulme Amplification Project.
